Transparency is important.
Dental care shouldn’t be confusing or anxiety-inducing. We educate our patients on all of their options and we thoroughly explain procedures beforehand.
Do what’s right.
That means not over diagnosing dental work. Not all procedures are necessary for everyone. And sometimes, it’s not financially feasible for a patient to have all of the recommended work done all at once. We will always help you find a treatment plan that fits your needs. No gimmicks. No sales pitches. It’s that simple.
Community is everything.
No matter your age, race, gender, where you live, or your taste in music—you’re welcome at Wooten Dentistry. Period.
Dr. Jonathan Wooten
Dr. Wooten has been practicing in the Columbus community since 2011. He specializes in family, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry in Clintonville, Ohio.
I became a dentist because I enjoy helping people in a tangible way. If someone comes to me in pain, I can fix it. If a person is unhappy with something about their teeth, we can find a resolution. It’s gratifying to solve a problem through good results. If I can relieve someone’s discomfort, then I’ve done my job.
Meet the Team
With over 9 years of experience in customer service and corporate marketing, Operations Officer Ashley Wooten is an essential glue to the practice. She holds an MBA from Charleston Southern University and a BS degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of South Carolina. Her professional skills are akin to a Swiss Army knife—versatile, resourceful, and quick to fix.
When Ashley (and husband Dr. Wooten) aren’t working, they enjoy spending time with their shelties Bentley, Lexi, Enzo, and Elise.
Mel grew up in Grove City and has been a dental assistant for the past 28 years. She loves helping people have a positive experience at the dentist.
In her free time, Mel loves to read, spend time with her 4 dogs, and work on home projects. Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Wooten is that he makes people feel at ease and is very good at what he does.
Joe grew up in a small town called Doylestown, Ohio, which is west of Akron. He then
graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene.
In his free time, Joe enjoys hiking, camping, festivals, watching sports, movies, brewing beer and spending time with his wife. He also has a dog named Walter and rabbit named Brutus.
Abby Twiss has been a dental hygienist for over 15 years. Like Joe, she also attended the Ohio State University. Abby’s favorite part about working as a hygienist are daily interactions with patients, as well as helping people achieve a healthy mouth and beautiful smile. This Canal Winchester girl likes working with Dr. Wooten because he’s meticulous, caring, and has an incredible sense of humor. When Abby isn’t super mom-ing her 3 kids, you’ll find her traveling, reading, or binge watching a ridiculous television show.
Kirsten has been in the dental field since 2013. She loves that working in a dental office allows her to use her organizational skills to deliver the best experience to patients. In her time off, she enjoys working out and is a power lifter!
Kirsten’s favorite thing about working with Dr. Wooten is that he's a great doctor who is very professional and personable. And she is most excited about this new practice in Clintonville as she enjoys meeting new people and having new experiences.
